The “Moderators” section allows you to add moderators to a group who can manage the feed by deleting posts/comments and post to the feed when the settings are disabled for group members. For very active groups it can be helpful to have more than one group moderator. This allows admins to not always be online or checking posts to the group. Moderators can help engage the group by taking a more active role to develop engagement among members. Moderators may start conversations by asking questions, posting polls, and sharing experiences or pictures.
Adding Moderators
- To add moderators, click on “+ Add Moderator”.
You can select moderators individually by scrolling through the list or by typing in a name in the “Search Members” box. NOTE: Users must first be a member of the group to be added as a moderator.
- Check the box to the left of user names you wish to add, then click on “Add”.
Deleting Moderators
- If you wish to delete a moderator from a group, check the box to the left of the name and either click on the trashcan to the far right of the user or click on the trashcan at the top. NOTE: A popup box will appear to confirm if you wish to proceed with deleting the moderator.
